Flutter Your Eyelashes
Autumn is upon us which can only mean one thing: Party season is just around the corner. With lots of upcoming events in the coming winter months, what could be more appropriate than these cute eyelashes by Paperself? A perfect addition to a Halloween outfit.

Chelsea Boot
The boot of the season is most definitely the Chelsea boot. It can be worn with tights and a dress or with any kind of jeans. I love these boots from ASOS. Get yours before they sell out.

Door Knockers
It’s sad news that EastEnders’ Pat St Clement is leaving the soap after fifteen years. Pat is such a legendary character, and is probably best known for her fabulous earring collection. Funnily, as she departs our screens, big earrings are returning to fashion for this season.

Amy: Unintentional Icon
Last night at the MTV Video Music Awards, Amy Winehouse was remembered and paid tribute to by Bruno Mars, Tony Bennett and Russell Brand. No one will forget her musical genius, but likewise, noone will forget her iconic image. Amy carved out a look that set her apart from everyone else. I get the feeling she never intended to be a style icon, but simply "did her own thing".
Nevertheless, a style inspiration she was. With her rockabilly shirts, pencil skirts and her Rosie the Riveter headscarves, some of the things she wore could so easily look awful on most, but looked quirky and original on Amy. Even Karl Lagerfeld recognised her as a source of inspiration.

Her collection for Fred Perry was released this month, and seems like a perfect way to honour Amy's style. A statement from Fred Perry said After much consideration and with the blessing of Amy's family, we have decided to release the AW11 Amy Winehouse for Fred Perry Collection. Amy was passionate and dedicated to the collaboration, and her signature style is clearly stamped across each piece. Amy's royalties and fees from both collections will be donated to the soon-to-be-established Amy Winehouse Foundation. Fred Perry will also make a seasonal donation to the Foundation."
Girls for years to come will be tottering around London in their silk ballet pumps, working a Bardot beehive and eyeline flicks and we'll all know why.

Fairytale Dress
I wish I had an occasion for this Alice & Olivia dress. I would feel like an ethereal princess in this. Layers of laces scales and a tulle bodice make this a beautiful party dress. It's no wonder it's almost sold out.

Spell It Out
Taking inspiration from one of my all time style icons, Carrie Bradshaw, I have invested in an initial necklace by Mija (http://mijajewelry.com/index.html).
Carrie's necklace was her trademark. I love the part in Sex and the City's final episode, An American Girl in Paris Part Deux, when Carrie thinks she has lost her necklace. All girls know that feeling when they lose something they love. And when Carrie is at her lowest, she finds it again.

Masters of Style
A couple of weeks ago I went to the Masters of Style exhibition in Somerset House. They showcased the six of Italy's most prominent fashion houses: Armani, Dolce & Gabbana, Ferragamo, Gucci, Missoni and Prada, and the advertising campaigns they became iconic in fashion history. I have posted a few of my favourite images from the Exhibition.

Bonjour!
My find of the week is the cute monochromatic slogan jumper. A bit Bella Freud, but not so expensive at £35!

J Brand Maria
J Brand 23110 Maria is my favourite new jean. The likes of Miranda Kerr and Rihanna are fans too. They have the look-good-and-feel-good factor, being stretchy and as comfortable as leggings, but utterly flattering with the high rise hiding my muffin top. They come in lots of shades, but Starless is my favourite.

The End of Magic
There aren't many people that haven't seen Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part Two by now, but if you haven't go and see it! It's cinematic history. Eventful premieres and promotional tours are huge on a movie of this scale, and this means one thing for me: the outfits. I love that Emma Watson went out with a true bang. Her Oscar de la Renta dress screamed "This may be my only chance to wear a beautiful ballgown on the red carpet!". She looked stunning. Emma at the New York premiere in Bottega Veneta was certainly an edgier look, but I prefer the feminine London look.
And best of the rest:
